Nursing care for children with special health care needs in primary care

Objective: To analyze, based on scientific evidence, nursing care for children with special health needs in Primary Health Care. Methods: Integrative literature review, search and selection MEDLINE databases via PubMed®, LILACS, Embase, SCOPUS the Scielo electronic library. Ten primary studies were included, available full, published between 2011 2021, English, Portuguese Spanish. Results: Despite great need technical knowledge assisting CSHCN, it is evident these their families to be attended not just biomedical approaches that limit terms of identifying aspects related clinical picture children. It was also evidenced nurses, most part, do feel prepared provide adequate due complexity conditions, deficiency professional training or lack periodic specific after graduation. Conclusion: Nursing CSHCN happens a fragmented way actions model. The findings showed little access inclusion, addition shortage provision nurses as frequent problem care.
